［参加者募集］10月24日（土）留学生対象 防災講座 Hands-on Disaster Prevention Seminar for International Students

７月に熊本県で震度７の大きな地震がありました。
震度７の地震というのは、どのくらいの揺れなのでしょうか？機械を使って、実際の揺れを体験します。
地震体験だけではなく、台風の風や、火災の煙を体験することもできます。
講師の先生に、2016年の熊本地震での体験についてお話しいただきます。ミッチェル先生は、外国人住民に災害への備えの大切さを伝え、地震の経験を広く共有する活動を続けています。
参加者全員に、災害時に役に立つもの（防災グッズ）をお渡しします。実際に、どんな備えが必要になるか、みんなで体験してみましょう。
参加を希望される方は事前の申込みをお願いします。

To all international students, welcome to Kumamoto! Are you enjoying your new life in Kumamoto?
We’ll hold a disaster prevention seminar. Let’s learn and prepare for earthquakes and fires with international students in Kumamoto!!
In July, a major earthquake with a seismic intensity of 7 struck Kumamoto Prefecture.
How strong is the shaking in an intensity 7 earthquake? You’ll use a machine to experience the actual shaking.
In addition, you can also experience typhoon-force winds and smoke from a fire.
Our guest speaker, Mr. Mitchell, will share his experiences from the 2016 Kumamoto Earthquake. He continues to work to educate foreign residents on the importance of disaster preparedness and to widely share his experiences with the earthquake.
We will provide all participants with items that will be useful in the event of a disaster (disaster preparedness supplies). Let’s all experience together what kind of preparations are actually necessary.
