熊本の留学生、日本人学生の皆様！！
天草のイルカウォッチングは有名ですよね。野生のイルカはどうやって生活しているのでしょうか。観光資源として有名なイルカですが、地元の方たちは、イルカの保護のためにどういう活動をしているのでしょうか。
船に乗って観光をすることで、イルカに与える影響は？イルカウォッチングによる経済効果は？船で近づいてイルカは怖くないの？
普段、イルカの保護や観光に関わる仕事をしている方を講師にお迎えし、天草の観光とイルカの現状について聞いてみましょう。７０分ではとても収まりきらない講座ですが、「SDGs」や「持続可能な観光」をキーワードに、熊本について学んでみましょう。

Dolphin watching is a famous activity in Amakusa. How do wild dolphins live? The wild dolphins are famous as a tourist resource, but what kind of activities are the locals doing to protect dolphins?
What is the impact on dolphins by sightseeing on board? What is the economic effect of dolphin watching? Aren’t dolphins scary when the tourists approaching by boat?
We invite a lecturer who usually works on dolphin conservation and sightseeing, and learn about the sightseeing and the current situation of wild dolphins in Amakusa. It is full of wonder. Let’s learn about the nature of Kumamoto with the keywords “SDGs” and “sustainable tourism”.
