Job Hunting Guidance for International Students

To support the international students who are interested in getting a job in Japan, a guidance seminar on how to conduct job hunting activities (mainly for those who are scheduled to graduate in 2015) was held on December 22nd, 2014.  Participants learned what they should do right now, what Japanese companies expect of international students and how to start an application, etc…

 

 

 

Job Fair for International Students

The job fair is annually organized for international students to introduce several local companies, under the sponsorship of Kumamoto Prefecture, the Consortium of Universities in Kumamoto, Kyushu Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry, and Kyushu Council on Global Human Resource for Industry.

Business Terms & Job Interview Countermeasure Seminar

 The seminar is held for international students who are scheduled to graduate in 2015.

Participants learned the correct use of words, proper business terms and how to express oneself at a job interview.

 

 

Internship Training Program for East Asian International Students (Administrative Officer only)

This Internship project intends to establish a far-reaching human network between East Asian countries and Kumamoto city as well as promotes the internationalization of administration of Kumamoto through offering the internship project for promising graduate students in East Asia such as China.

Brief Overview of Internship project for East Asian International Students 2013

Qualifications: International students, in particular, in-service senior administrative 
                       officers from East Asian countries such as China.

Duration: About one month
               January, 2014

Content: Practical training at a suitable professional department

Support: The Consortium of Universities in Kumamoto offers a grant (scholarship and lump-sum allowance)
               to international students after arriving in Japan.
